Barclaycard

Barclays Bank Delaware, a leading credit card issuer offering both co-branded and general-purpose credit cards, established an internal design department in 2013 known as the Technology Innovation Lab.

The lab was created to deliver high-end, agency-quality design services within the organization—providing Barclays with cost-efficient solutions, faster turnaround times, and more direct, collaborative communication between design and business teams. In addition to creative services, the lab also offered ongoing design guidance, support, and maintenance to ensure long-term consistency and innovation across Barclays’ digital and marketing initiatives.

As a UX/UI Designer within Barclays’ Technology Innovation Lab, I contributed to multiple initiatives focused on advancing digital banking experiences:

Product Design & Innovation
Designed customer-facing interfaces for account management tools, improving usability and accessibility across core banking features.

Mobile Experience Design
Developed the end-to-end UX for a mobile payment app that incentivized everyday transactions through a rewards-based system.

Financial Education Platform
Created the user experience for an educational platform aimed at helping high school students build financial literacy and plan for their financial future.
